Role Responsibilities

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and production guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation following 5S or similar lean manufacturing principles.

Role Purpose

  • Assembly Operator is responsible for building, assembling, and testing mechanical or electromechanical products to meet production, quality, and safety standards. This role ensures that components are accurately assembled according to engineering specifications, supports efficient manufacturing operations, and contributes to delivering high‑quality finished products to customers. The technician plays a key part in maintaining workflow, identifying issues early, and supporting continuous improvement across the production line.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ year of experience in a production/manufacturing environment working with manufacturing tools, equipment, and safety protocols

  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds. Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Physically capable of working in a fast-paced, stop-and-go manufacturing environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.

  • Alert, dependable, and safety-focused.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments.

  • Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in support of a process-oriented operation.

Pay Range

The hourly rate for this position is between $15 - $30 per hour.  Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
