Production Planner

This position is for an entry-level Materials Planning and SIOP professional who participates in the supply and demand planning process, and responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness of work area. May work with internal team to develop financial forecasts. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Execute the schedule for release and sequence of kits, and the material handlers to pick 

• Coordinate with 3PLs and Materials teams to ensure timely delivery of kits 

• Delegate inventory transactions 

• Drive the scheduling and picking of kits 

• Record discrepancies, coordinate cycle counts, and communicate expedites 

• Work with Receiving team to coordinate “hot” inbound deliveries. 

• Track “turn-backs” to standardize processes and perform root cause analysis to help solve systemic issues 

• Ensure production “takt” is met to achieve planned results 

Basic Qualifications  

• High School Diploma or GED  

• 1+ years of experience in operations, warehouse or logistics 

• 1+ year of aftermarket delivery execution experience  

Preferred Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree 

• Detail oriented 

• Strong English written and oral communicator 

• Proficient in SAP MRP systems (or similar) 

• Analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Experience in lean manufacturing and participation in kaizen continuous improvements 

• Work with urgency 

• Leadership and interpersonal skills 

• Experience with : SAP, Power BI, Sauna, etc.
