About this role:
The Scheduling Manager owns daily and mid-term production scheduling at a Carrier manufacturing facility, ensuring the right balance between demand and capacity to meet customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Builds and manages short- and mid-term production schedules.
Balances line load against available capacity.
Tracks adherence-to-plan and adjusts for deviations.
Coordinates with Materials on input availability.
Analyzes service, inventory and plan-adherence KPIs.
Schedules production to enable inventory optimization.
Supports the SIOP/S&OP process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of production planning/scheduling experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Solid knowledge of MRP, ERP systems and capacity planning.
Proven ability to build and manage short- and mid-term schedules and balance line load.
Experience tracking adherence-to-plan, service and inventory KPIs.
Strong analytical skills and cross-functional coordination.
APICS certification (CPIM) preferred.
Experience in high-growth or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
