About this role:

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures the availability and reliability of the equipment and facilities at a Carrier manufacturing facility. This role leads a team of maintenance technicians, executes the preventive/predictive maintenance program, and supports equipment installation and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production equipment and facilities and data-driven reliability improvements.

  • Responsible for supporting equipment installation, commissioning, startup activities, and production ramp-ups.

  • Leads, schedules, coaches and develops the maintenance technician team across shifts.

  • Manages the maintenance plan, spare-parts inventory, and service providers.

  • Drives autonomous maintenance and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.

  • Ensure safety compliance (OSHA, LOTO, permits) on all interventions.

  • Owns the maintenance of KPIs, including equipment uptime, MTBF,MTTR, maintenance cost performance, and support of overall OEE objectives. 

  • Strengthen accountability for reliability engineering practices, root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and long term asset performance improvements.

  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, productivity and asset 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years supervising maintenance technicians.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Experience developing, executing, and continuously improving preventive/predictive maintenance programs and managing a CMMS.

  • Working knowledge of TPM, autonomous maintenance and reliability metrics (MTBF/MTTR, uptime).

  • Strong safety orientation with knowledge of OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work procedures.

  • Availability to support a multi-shift operation, including on-call coverage.

  • Experience with equipment installation and integration.

  • Knowledge of TPM and CMMS systems.

  • Experience with PLCs and automated equipment.
