The Strategic Pricing Manager will lead truck and trailer refrigeration equipment aftermarket parts pricing for a significant product count and revenue business within the Carrier brand.  You will be responsible for leading the pricing activities within Carrier Transicold’s Truck/Trailer business segment, ensuring timely execution and profitable contribution to top-and-bottom-line financial performance.  Key responsibilities include daily and strategic pricing, competitive analysis, quoting, managing pricing within internal systems and customer interfaces, and dashboard creation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily and strategic pricing and margin analysis to ensure the business’s revenue and margin goals are achieved

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure and analyze price and mix of products, and related sales and profitability to the business

  • Manage, prioritize, and execute on-time delivery of all pricing actions and initiatives

  • Maintain pricing data within internal and external-facing business systems

  • Coordinate pricing initiatives with internal domestic and international business units

  • Recommend and execute upon promotional pricing activities

  • Report and present on pricing information, objectives, analysis and price realization to marketing, finance, and business leadership

  • Recommend improvements to current pricing process/system and manage IT changes

  • Data scraping for competitive information, build into data warehouse to be used for automated pricing recommendations (bot automation)

  • Manage internal and external customers’ pricing and requests and facilitate the publishing of price data to approved 3rd parties

  • Review and recommend process improvements related to pricing implementation and the new product launch process

  • Owns customer case management for pricing

  • Responsible in the case of new price system design, implementation, training and related documentation

  • Work closely with the sales team on quoting activities

  • Interface with sales, marketing, product development, product support, customer service, legal, and supply chain to achieve tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of experience in an analyst role (data analysis)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or MBA

  • Demonstrated strategic and tactical pricing experience

  • Have a professional presence and ability to communicate across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations and data requires an evaluation of intangible variables

  • Ability to exercise independent discernment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

  • Excel in a dynamic environment

  • Competitive analysis and segmentation skills

  • Statistical analysis skills

  • Excellent computer skills are required, including Microsoft Office applications, database software

  • Proven cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, problem-analysis and resolution skills

  • Salesforce, JDE, and PowerBI experience
