About This Role
The Warehouse Coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily, overall operations within a warehouse, with the goal of providing logistics support to assist with timely job site mobilization. This includes monitoring and maintaining quality control of inventory and timely flow of materials to positively impact revenue and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, reviewing/inspecting and validating material according to shipping label and/or Bill of Lading.
- Organize material according to designated process (bill of lading, Project Manager, etc.).
- Conduct warehouse inventory and reconciliation on a regular schedule in order to ensure accuracy of data and proactively identify and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure stock on hand availably by maintaining min and max levels.
- Coordinate drop shipments according to schedule.
- Provide end of day update of parts received by job, PM, etc.
- Ability to prioritize in real time competing tasks while ensuring safety and positive control of warehouse material.
- Ensure materials payables issues are reviewed and resolved in timely manner, as necessary.
- Ensure all material is signed for on a transmittal, and updated in MS Dynamics.
- Warehouse upkeep and safety - e.g. pedestrian lanes clear, proper storage and segregation of HAZMAT material, maintenance and upkeep of MSDS documentation.
- Equipment inspection, material handling equipment, fire extinguishers, racking
- systems, etc.
- General warehouse upkeep and cleanliness. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of professional experience in warehousing and logistics.
- Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.
- Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree
- Experience with Microsoft software, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and without close supervision.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities successfully.
