About this role:
The Digital Technology Site Leader, you will serve as the primary Digital Technology partner for the manufacturing site, Digital strategy and transformation champion. This role will shape and execute the site digital roadmap, connect business priorities with technology solutions, and ensure reliable, secure, and compliant technology operations that enable factory performance and operational reliability.
The role combines digital manufacturing leadership, business partnership, project execution, and site-level technology coordination. Infrastructure knowledge is a strong advantage to work in partnership with the Carrier WHQ Infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads Digital Technology for the site: infrastructure, networks, systems and end-user support.
- Owns manufacturing systems support (ERP, MES, WMS, shop-floor applications) and uptime.
- Partners with Operations to define and deliver the site digital/automation roadmap.
- Ensures cybersecurity compliance, access controls and OT/IT segmentation standards.
- Manages DT project portfolio, site planning and budget management, vendors and service levels.
- Leads disaster-recovery, business-continuity and incident-response readiness for the site.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement relevant technologies such as IoT, automation, analytics, AI, connected worker solutions, and manufacturing systems.
- Partners with enterprise DT teams to align standards and deploy solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Technology Engineering
- 8+ years of Digital Technology experience, including 3+ years leading teams in a manufacturing site/plant Digital Technology function.
- 3+ years of experience supporting manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, WMS) and shop-floor technology.
- 4+ years of experience working with infrastructure, networks and OT/IT convergence in a plant environment.
- 4+ years of experience managing digital technology projects, business strategy, budgets and vendor relationships.
- 3+ years of experience partnering with operations leadership and translating needs into solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, access management and compliance.
- Experience deploying systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 / IIoT, data platforms and analytics.
- ITIL, PMP or cybersecurity certifications.
