About this role:

If you’d like to support inventory accuracy through your detail-orientation, Carrier has a great opportunity for you! Carrier is seeking a motivated, action-oriented person to support bin level and 4-wall inventory integrity in our Lewisburg Distribution Center.

The Inventory Coordinator role is needed to support bin level and 4-wall inventory integrity; enabling fewer system reconciliations, fewer backorders/cuts from shipments, and improved labor productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan daily cycle counts
  • Identify replenishment needs from external warehouse(s)
  • Research and block unavailable stock
  • Prepping & logging scrap tags and processing scrapped units through SAP
  • Maintain Cycle Count reports
  • Identify QC inbound trailers and assist managing QC holds within the warehouse
  • Responsiveness to internal and external phone and email communications
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics supervisors, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products
  • Troubleshoot issues arising from shipping/receiving or inventory handling
  • Audit high value discrepancies and common trouble areas in the warehouse
  • Create a good customer service experience when interacting with other companies and customers, ensuring external parties receive a positive interaction with the company
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience working warehouse/manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency, self-initiative, and sense of ownership
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain focus on multiple priorities
