About this role
Carrier University in Kennesaw GA is actively seeking a Product Training Manager to join the team. The Product Training Manager will lead a team of experienced Product Training professionals in HVAC controls, setting objectives and guiding others on the execution of training plans. Also take responsibility for providing recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of various HVAC Controls product training programs.
This is an onsite role in Kennesaw GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the training program, manage the training team, and conduct ad hoc technical training
- Lead the development of training tools
- Lead forums and learning events to engage and educate dealers regionally as well as at the Carrier Controls Training Center
- Manage the Partners-in-Training program
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts to develop training modules
- Supervise the use of a Learning Management Systems
- Continually improve course materials; supplement and share teaching responsibilities
- Work directly with Distribution, Field Sales, and Dealers to conduct ongoing voice of customer research to improve the training approach
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Carrier University and Customer Training Partners on training development and strategy
- Support the marketing loyalty program
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 3 years plus training experience
- 5 years plus HVAC controls product experience (application, installation and operation)
- 2 years plus supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- MA/MS degree
- Manage training programs, and training efforts in a fast- paced environment
- Curriculum development, educational design and learning management systems
- Understand marketplace dynamics, i.e. industry trends and assessment of key competitors' programs
- Analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesis in both graphic and verbal format
- Presentation skills that it is easily understood by the target audience
- Strong public speaking skills
- Communicate professionally in English written and verbal format across a wide audience
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Organized with attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
