About this role
The Warranty Manager is responsible for warranty adjudication process, supplier recovery efforts and continuous improvement efforts for Carrier Transicold North America Truck Trailer. The ideal candidate has experience within the transportation segment, preferably commercial trucking or an adjacent industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall team safety performance and adherence to established programs and protocols
- Manage diverse warranty team.
- Act as key listening post for new and emerging warranty trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to drive root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Develop and report on warranty metrics to internal stakeholders.
- Work directly with IT to develop new feature sets and system improvements.
- Evaluate and continuous improvement efforts related to warranty system and processes.
- Lead supplier recovery efforts and report out to senior leadership.
- Respond to dealer inquiries concerning claims, system issues, warranty policies and practices.
- Develop warranty training materials and guides to support dealer channel partners.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience in Commercial Service Industry
- 2+ years’ experience in customer Service
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience in the transportation, trucking, and/or automotive industries is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in Aftermarket is preferred.
- Experience with JDE Enterprise, Salesforce, or other systems supporting warranty management is preferred.
- Experience interacting with functional teams in IT, Services, Quality, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance is preferred.
- Experience leading diverse teams with various backgrounds is preferred.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Quality System/COPQ or Continuous Improvement is strongly preferred.
