About this Role:

As the Director of HR Technology, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the HR technology strategy and roadmap for the organization. You will oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HR systems, with a particular focus on Workday Talent Management modules including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning and Talent Marketplace. You will partner with HR leaders, Digital teams, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of best-in-class HR technology solutions that support business needs and objectives.

The HR Technology expert, recognized as a thought leader in HR Technology. Recommends critical strategies and plans for HR Technology. Provides technical subject matter expertise to senior leaders and makes recommendations based on complex issues.

Remote role- can be based anywhere in Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the HR technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HR systems, with a particular focus on Workday Talent Management modules.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems.
  • Partner with HR leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to identify opportunities to improve HR technology solutions and processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR technology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR technology services.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and oversee the selection, negotiation, and contracting of HR technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure HR systems are integrated with other business systems as needed.
  • Manage HR technology budgets and timelines.
  • Lead and develop direct reports and dotted-line employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 + years of experience in HR technology
  • 4 + years of experience in Workday Talent Management modules (Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning, or Talent Marketplace)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale HR technology projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels within the organization.
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and timelines.
  • Proficient in generating reports and data analysis to assist with decision-making and planning.
  • Adept at creating Documentation artifacts such as User Guides, Process Flow Charts, Project Plans, Test Plans and other slide decks for presenting to leadership.
  • Comfortable with SDLC and Agile product delivery frameworks and tools such as JIRA.
