Inside Sales Representative

About the Role:
- Provide proposals for unitary equipment for established customers
- Work collaboratively with the offshore quoting support team
- Respond to pricing requests from the network of Carrier distributors
- Ability to effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
- Have an ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in fast-paced situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Seek new business opportunities by assisting with RFP's for new and/or existing customers.
- Support Sales Managers and Inside Sales Engineers with new and existing accounts.
- Have a combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers
Required Qualification:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ Customer Service Experience
Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Commercial HVAC experience or knowledge preferred
- Prior sales and/or customer service experience is preferred
- Experience with CRM Systems such as Salesforce
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to prioritize multiple priorities
- Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, sense of ownership is required
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with both external customers and a multi-functional team of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates
- Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills
- Unwavering customer service orientation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
