Inside Sales Representative

About the Role:

  • Provide proposals for unitary equipment for established customers
  • Work collaboratively with the offshore quoting support team
  • Respond to pricing requests from the network of Carrier distributors
  • Ability to effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
  • Have an ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in fast-paced situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Seek new business opportunities by assisting with RFP's for new and/or existing customers.
  • Support Sales Managers and Inside Sales Engineers with new and existing accounts.
  • Have a combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers

Required Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ Customer Service Experience

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Commercial HVAC experience or knowledge preferred
  • Prior sales and/or customer service experience is preferred
  • Experience with CRM Systems such as Salesforce
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to prioritize multiple priorities
  • Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, sense of ownership is required
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with both external customers and a multi-functional team of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates
  • Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Unwavering customer service orientation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
