External Description:
As a Field Service/Warehouse Specialists for Automated Logic Corporation’s Phoenix, AZ branch, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the execution of inventory access and warehouse standards. This position will provide support to the Arizona operations teams to help drive the organization’s commitment to operational excellence. In addition, this position will be responsible for collaborating with fellow employees and our subcontractors. This role is a great entry level role and the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill sets to work into a BAS Control Field Engineering role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by organizing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Executes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Strives to continuously improve warehouse practices.
- Works with Operations Manager to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Works with Operations manager to assist with scheduling pickup and deliveries of inventory.
- Identifies the causes of product losses and suggests correction action.
- Identify process bottlenecks and coordinate the implementation of solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure that warehouse is clean, maintained and organized
- Keep project management apprised of concerns and issues regarding project material
- Assist Control Field Engineers with tasks to complete point-to-point checkout, commissioning, etc.
- Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements
- Work continuously to improve ALC image through appearance, dress and actions
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Have technical competence
- Experience in dealing with several simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines.
- Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AA/AS degree w/1–3+ years’ experience
- Completed HVAC technical school certificate
- 1+ Years’ Experience in low voltage Controls DDC control theory and applications pertaining to HVAC
- 1+ Years’ Experience in HVAC, reading multimeter and basic control logic concepts
