Regional Sales Manager - Upper Midwest Region
This role will be remote, ideal candidate will sit in Colorado, Arizona or Utah.

The North American HVAC parts business within Carrier is responsible for the supply of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts in support of Carrier/Bryant/Payne and ICP equipment, both in- and out-of-warranty, as well as leading and promoting branded select aftermarket products to improve business performance. This role will report to the Area Manager and will have responsibility to foster and increase SOW with existing Carrier/Bryant and ICP distributors. Develop and implement effective strategies for product sales across all product categories to existing distribution platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute growth plans in a defined geographic region.
Execute on Replacement Components strategies to achieve annual sales growth target. Manage relationship with key distributor personnel to assist them to meet their sales and business targets.
Set account and territory plans on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Educate distributor branch personnel on products and marketing programs. Work with Replacement Components Product Management team to identify product gaps and opportunities.
Examine customer sales and market conditions to identify opportunities. Monitor current marketplace by gathering competitive information on pricing, product, and merchandising techniques, etc.
Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolve customer opportunities by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management.
Manage the SIOP process for all account responsibilities.
Coordinate customer training.
Ability to travel 40% of time.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of Sales Experience
3+ years of HVAC Industry Product Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in related field or industry
5+ years of sales or product marketing experience, HVAC market and product knowledge desirable Valid Driver’s license Preferred Qualification
Located in the Colorado, Utah or Arizona territory, ability to travel to New Mexico and Nevada
Expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time
Strong interpersonal skills (high level presentations to executives and distributors/customers)
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to interact within a cross functional team matrix organization to achieve higher level goals and objectives
Sense of urgency, self-motivated, commitment, and sense of ownership
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Proficient in using a Customer Relationship Management System.
