About this role
Kidde-Fenwal in Ashland MA has an opportunity for a highly motivated professional with a passion for optimizing supply chain operations, who can drive SIOP excellence, and make a significant impact, as a Senior Associate Material Planner on our team.
This is an onsite role in Ashland MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for scheduling and order fulfillment based on allocated product lines
- Participate in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning), optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery
- Interact with Product Managers to develop demand forecasts
- Support in planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations
- Engage with the manufacturing team, to develop the monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters
- Accountable for appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement. i.e. inventory levels
- Supports Quality initiatives
- Work with Purchasing and Sourcing to ensure material demand is accurate and maintained
- Handle the material disposition via the ECO/ECI process
Basic Qualifications
- High School GED
- 5 years of experience in scheduling, planning or operations management
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- BA/BS degree
- ERP System experience, JDE or Oracle Based Systems a plus
- APICS or equivalent Materials Management exposure preferred
