About this role

Kidde-Fenwal in Ashland MA has an opportunity for a highly motivated professional with a passion for optimizing supply chain operations, who can drive SIOP excellence, and make a significant impact, as a Senior Associate Material Planner on our team.

This is an onsite role in Ashland MA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for scheduling and order fulfillment based on allocated product lines
  • Participate in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning), optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery
  • Interact with Product Managers to develop demand forecasts
  • Support in planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations
  • Engage with the manufacturing team, to develop the monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters
  • Accountable for appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement. i.e. inventory levels
  • Supports Quality initiatives
  • Work with Purchasing and Sourcing to ensure material demand is accurate and maintained
  • Handle the material disposition via the ECO/ECI process

Basic Qualifications

  • High School GED
  • 5 years of experience in scheduling, planning or operations management

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • BA/BS degree
  • ERP System experience, JDE or Oracle Based Systems a plus
  • APICS or equivalent Materials Management exposure preferred
