About the position

Experienced Quality Inspection professional. Conducts and monitors inspections using established inspection methods, standards, procedures and sequences to ensure that quality standards are maintained. Provides guidance on the method and sequence to conduct inspections, maintains inspection logs, and documents inspection results.

Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and conducts Quality, Receiving, MRB and/or product inspections using established inspection methods, standards, procedures and sequences using complex measuring devices and testing equipment.
  • Monitors and reviews quality inspections to ensure adherence to statistical processes or other control procedures.
  • Maintains inspection logs and reports. Prepares technical reports and presentations to document inspection results so that performance problems can be identified and resolved.
  • Provides guidance on the appropriate method and sequence to conduct inspections to ensure that the process is efficient and effective.
  • Provides feedback on quality issues arising from inspection fields to ensure continuous improvement and quality achievement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or Technical degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in Electronics or Technical product Manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to Read & interpret technical drawings / mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Ability to use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, inspection gauges and other measuring tools
  • CMM experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks
  • ISO 9001 standards a plus
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvements a plus
