Today, we continue to lead because we have a world-class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.
About this role
Carrier is seeking college graduates with demonstrated leadership capability, learning agility, and the desire to develop as Human Resources professionals. The Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP) is a two-year rotational program that exposes aspiring human resources leaders to Carrier’s human resource function and business segments through three, eight-month rotations. HRLPs will build capabilities through hands-on experiences in a culture that values integrity, respect, inclusion, innovation, and excellence.
HRLPs will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders in an HR operating model that includes Communities of Expertise (CoEs), HR Operations, and HR Business Partners. HRLPs will complete assignments in diverse functional areas of Human Resources that will accelerate their development and career progression in the function. HRLP Program Management will partner with each HRLP to develop a career path inclusive of experiences that balance individual career interests and company needs.
Key Responsibilities
During the associate’s time in the program, rotational assignments are available in Refrigeration, HVAC, and Carrier’s Global Headquarters. Our commitment is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch and build capabilities across Human Resources. Each HRLP will have the opportunity to experience different functional rotations which may include human resources business partnerships, including exposure to plant or factory workforces, total rewards, talent programs, talent acquisition, and project management.
Rotation locations may include: Charlotte, North Carolina; Indianapolis, Indiana; Atlanta, Georgia; Memphis, Tennessee; and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The program provides training and immersion experiences to supplement rotational experiences. HRLPs will also be paired with an HR executive leader to provide mentorship throughout the program.
