About This Role
Exciting opportunity for an Entry-level professional in Test and Validation. You will provide engineering support to business unit's testing and validation of new product development and product-sustaining activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide validation engineering support to the business unit.
- Prioritize validation projects with design engineers based on team needs and meet commitments.
- Handle and execute a multitude of validation responsibilities for many different engineers.
- Document validation reports and communicate to team on observations made during testing.
- Aggressively work to meet scheduled deadlines and provide inputs to the team to keep the project schedule.
- Generate and execute validation test plans and document results.
- Perform special testing or analysis of field returns.
- Troubleshoot test equipment and products as needed.
- Maintain lab equipment.
- Establish or follow test procedures.
- Attend validation meetings as needed.
- Financial Management: Identify and propose cost-improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Have validation knowledge and experience.
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Software or Computer Engineering
- Ability to express technical ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to use office applications and email/Internet.
- Ability to organize, work in a team setting, work on multiple projects, think analytically and solve problems and troubleshoot.
- Ability to read schematics, use various electronic test equipment, maintain project delivery dates, and execute test plans.
