About This Role

Exciting opportunity for an Entry-level professional in Test and Validation. You will provide engineering support to business unit's testing and validation of new product development and product-sustaining activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide validation engineering support to the business unit.
  • Prioritize validation projects with design engineers based on team needs and meet commitments.
  • Handle and execute a multitude of validation responsibilities for many different engineers.
  • Document validation reports and communicate to team on observations made during testing.
  • Aggressively work to meet scheduled deadlines and provide inputs to the team to keep the project schedule.
  • Generate and execute validation test plans and document results.
  • Perform special testing or analysis of field returns.
  • Troubleshoot test equipment and products as needed.
  • Maintain lab equipment.
  • Establish or follow test procedures.
  • Attend validation meetings as needed.
  • Financial Management: Identify and propose cost-improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have validation knowledge and experience.
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Software or Computer Engineering
  • Ability to express technical ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to use office applications and email/Internet.
  • Ability to organize, work in a team setting, work on multiple projects, think analytically and solve problems and troubleshoot.
  • Ability to read schematics, use various electronic test equipment, maintain project delivery dates, and execute test plans.
