About this role 

This position manages a team of intermediate or experience professionals in Project Management, leads project plans, provides resolutions to project problems, participates in project meetings, suggests allocation of resources, develops strategic planning, supports the business development team with writing proposals, and may act as the primary contact with customers.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead training, participate in Communities of Practice and other activities which extend outside of the immediate COE alignment. 
  • Support teams and individuals in the adoption of Agile methodologies while remaining in alignment to the Agile Team’s philosophies to deliver value. 
  • Help create standard documentation and training modules for Agile and usage of Jira tools to align to digital’s goals, including alignment to the long-range plans for scaling. 
  • Partner with leaders within the COE and across COE’s and Business Units with a mindset of growing team maturity, building on Agile pillars of Transparency, Inspection and Adaptation. 
  • Support agile training and workshops, agile maturity assessments, and pilots  
  • Jira training and workshops.  Custom Charts, Team metrics in Jira, Atlassian apps for DevOps. (BitBucket, JSM, Confluence, etc) 
  • Provide data analysis aligned to EE initiatives to establish benchmarks, track improvements, and align KPI's across EE CoE's 
  • Create, regularly review, and maintain playbooks / process documentation.  Identify gaps in processes to enhance Cx 
  • Assist with data gathering and analysis with M&A or Enterprise Applications or Capstone as needed. 

  

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an enterprise agile transformation coach 

Preferred Qualifications 

Skills: 

  • Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and validation of adherence to Agile mindset. 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to train teams the Agile way of working with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and individuals at all levels. 
  • Proven track record for planning, executing, supporting, work initiatives and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision 
  • Exceptional emotional intelligent skills with the ability to genuinely support the strategic vision and inspire and motivate teams. 
  • A distinctive blend of business, IT, and various understandings with Agile tools in the Atlassian environment or whatever else might be brought into Carrier 
  • Ability to level-set content and its intent in a cross-functional environment regardless of technical or business expertise. 
  • Emphasize "Big Picture" thinking, persistent project goal and status sharing, and celebration of milestones throughout 
  • Natural demonstration of emotional intelligence and ability to relate to people.  Seeks to understand and probe to solve problems collaboratively. 
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization 
  • Ability to effectively review and communicate metrics to all levels of teammates within their specific purview  
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.   
  • Jira architecture experience with scaled initiatives and multiple workstreams.

  • Knowledge of Carrier’s organizational structure, how they’re related and how Agile could serve them to deliver value. 
  • Understanding of the different types of agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level. 
  • Balance the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications when setting up teams and Jira projects 
  • Be able to understand and offer solutions in alignment to Agile practices 
  • Ready to think, behave and act in a partnering manner to drive the organization’s digital business strategies.
