Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive customer support to our top customers and actively strive to delight them.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding status of open orders, stock availability, and shipping information on the phone and through the case management system.
- Expedite backlog working with individual planners and buyers.
- Address priority and/or emergency order situations, tactfully handle problems and complaints, and recognize and solve possible problems before they become critical.
- Log and research customer disputes.
- Provide order entry assistance as required.
- Process return material authorization requests as required.
- Handle basic department related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Serve as backup for other reps as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience as a customer service representative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to work well with a variety of team members.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to handle high volume customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, pleasant demeanor in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
