Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive customer support to our top customers and actively strive to delight them.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding status of open orders, stock availability, and shipping information on the phone and through the case management system.
  • Expedite backlog working with individual planners and buyers. 
  • Address priority and/or emergency order situations, tactfully handle problems and complaints, and recognize and solve possible problems before they become critical. 
  • Log and research customer disputes.
  • Provide order entry assistance as required. 
  • Process return material authorization requests as required.
  • Handle basic department related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Serve as backup for other reps as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience as a customer service representative.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to work well with a variety of team members.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to handle high volume customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, pleasant demeanor in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
