External Description:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing inbound goods for RMA processing.
- Responsible for managing the outbound picking and packing of goods for RMA processing and arranging shipment to an off-site facility (supplier) for analysis.
- Communicate status of pending RMAs with CQE and supervisor through standard reports.
- Review and reconcile return material authorization (RMA) forms and physical inventory returns
- Monthly disposition (return, scrap, closeout) of RMAs
- Perform functional circuit board testing, and results should be recorded.
- Enter data, analyze data, and identify trends in repair and replacement requests.
- Performs additional duties as required and or requested
Basic Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as written documentation procedures (Especially Excel)
- Ability to learn and use computer applications required to document RMAs and claim findings
- Ability to handle competing priorities and manage time appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in using Continuous Improvement (CI) tools
- Demonstrated ability in the use of appropriate problem-solving tools including root cause analysis
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to facilitate and motivate teams
- Technical knowledge / understanding of commercial HVAC manufacturing processes
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous job experiences with working with customers in a customer service role
