About this role

Automated Logic has an opportunity for a Master Technical Field Service Team Lead in Aftermarket and Service to join the team. The successful candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision and independently. Duties include but not limited to conducting and/or overseeing equipment inspection and repair activities on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning. Responsible for on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation. Solves highly complex problems and serves as a resource on varied tasks. Manage a team of Field Engineers.

This position is based out of California and would require 50% of traveling within the North Americas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use technical competence on ALC BAS products and processes to execute projects
  • Resolve or guide others through complex problem-resolution
  • Act as the Team Leader of the Field Engineers
  • Interact proactively and in-depth with customers
  • Recommend and plan ALC BAS for customers’ project enhancements
  • Mentor Junior Field Supervisors in all areas of their development
  • Start up, commission, re-commission customer’s BAS projects
  • Provide solutions to complex systems problems i.e. troubleshoot systems or advise others on how to resolve problems
  • Work with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operations/execution of work
  • Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects in North America

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or Technical School in HVAC
  • 10 years’ plus of experience in the HVAC controls industry

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Associate degree
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Access and Windows products
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and project management skills
  • Ability to read and understand the scope of work
  • English written and verbal communication skills
