We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented student to join our team for the summer of 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

As a Commodity Management and Sourcing intern, you will gain experience including, but not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:

  • Manage Open PO reporting with Buyers and Suppliers.
  • Logistics Analysis, including lane optimization and rate comparison.
  • Inventory analysis and recommendations to stock levels and actions to drive to set KPIs.
  • Interactions with domestic and international suppliers for cost reduction initiatives, create ideas, drive projects, and report results.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning (DRP, BCP) assist in setting robust. practices to ensure supply chain stability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Statistical Analysis, or related fields
  • 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Applicant must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
