This role, Commercial Leader is part of Security business for our Mastermind Software Suites (MAS). MAS is provider of the MASterMind™ suite, one of the world’s preeminent security automation software, provides a fully integrated enterprise solution for monitored, security service providers and proprietary central stations. About This Role

The Commercial Leader will lead & own the commercial activity for our Mastermind Suites of alarm monitoring & business management software, with ownership of the complete sales cycle (pre-sales to closing and services revenue) and development of future business model for the Software Suite. This person will lead a team of sales executives, training, & sales operations with direct responsibility of growing the top & bottom line of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop & Own Commercial Business Plan:

  • Own the development, growth & communication of commercial business plan. Lead the Sales and Customer Service and Support teams on the execution of the commercial business plan.

  • Identify strategic target customers, partners, and major projects; develop those relationships and business opportunities.

  • Drive growth of MAS market share, with present & upcoming products in the existing & consequent market.

  • Work with the Security Solutions Aftermarket & Services Leader and CFO to define commercial targets, incentivization policy for the team, and a robust process to monitor those targets.

  • Collaborate with other functions contributing to the business & lead the development of commercial playbook to achieve profitable growth & increase share of valet.

  • Provide customer analyses; participate in internal work groups to share know-how, processes, and customer information.

Thought Leadership, Industry Relations, and Marketing:

  • Work with internal teams including, marketing & communications and engineering, to define, coordinate, and implement a unified storyline and sales strategies.

  • Promote & foster long-term relationships with major influencing bodies with a focus on key stakeholders and high influencers.

  • Drive, influence and support strategy and offer marketing on sub-segment market research, business model development, investment themes, build/buy/partner approaches, value proposition/used cases, and journey maps for segment-specific customer problems.

People Management, Coaching & Training

  • Lead the Sales, Customer Service and Support teams to promote high-capacity collaboration with business stakeholders /influencers, in direct line as well as complexed matrix structure.

  • With focus on 3E (experience, exposure, education), work to develop/mentor/coach talent and inspire individuals in the commercial community as well as broader organization.

  • Foster a culture of learning, coaching, customer-centricity, accountability, collaboration and achieving big bold goals.

Business Growth

  • Software Suite top-line revenue growth & bottom line through a close partnership with sales and execution team in MAS Software Suite.

  • YoY growth in ARR & services orders.

  • New account accusation & increase in exiting account share of wallet.

  • Pipeline Growth.

Customer & Employee Engagement

  • YoY increase in Customer net promoter.

  • YoY increase in Employee net promoter.

  • Succession planning and knowledge sharing between key positions.

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 7+ years of experience in a Commercial Role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relative business field

  • Commercial Sales Experience

  • Experience with Alarm Monitoring Software

  • Ability to build networks, be a critical thinker, customer focused, and an active listening communication approach.
