We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Serve with a team of engineers to develop digital product solutions for transport refrigeration systems.
Review product and design requirements from cross-functional team feedback.
Support verification and validation of supplier product deliveries in a lab environment.
Design, conduct, and document end-to-end testing to verify product design against requirements.
Present technical findings and test results to project team members.
Collaborate with service to define field tests in support of product releases.
Required Qualifications
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
3.0 or higher GPA
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant coursework or previous internships are preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proactive and results-driven; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Experience or interest in thermodynamics and software development principles.
Demonstrated hands-on technical skills in an engineering discipline, including electronics and mechatronics
Classroom or teamwork experience with transport refrigeration and wireless communication (IoT) products is preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Self-driven and proactive
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
