About this role 

This role is a full-time summer internship (40 hours a week) during the summer months. 

Automated Logic is searching for innovative and solutions-oriented Field Engineering Interns to be a part of our Western Massachusetts world-class operations team. Our Project/Field Engineer Interns quickly adapt strategies, plans, and solutions to affect dynamic business requirements. They are comfortable interfacing and driving various functional activities with minimal oversight. Open minds, customer focus, innovation empowerment, advanced technologies, and teamwork drive our Field Operations Engineering team to deliver the region's most advanced Building Controls solutions.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work with Field Supervisor and Project managers to expedite material delivery and installation.
  • Deliver parts, materials, and prints to job sites, subcontractors, and between offices.
  • Create opportunities for efficiencies in tasks associated with project preparation.
  • Learn ALC Webctrl solutions to building management systems.
  • Support office goals for summer project work may include overtime and weekends, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Facilities Engineering, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Controls, and Construction Management.
  • 3.0 or higher GPA  
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of refrigeration products (preferred but not required) 
  • Ability to solve challenging and complex customer requests 
  • Knowledgeable in CAD system
