About this Role
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for Summer 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the successful development of new and exciting DC and AC distribution systems for Homes and Transport Refrigeration systems.
Work on design concepts for our next-generation battery modules,
Perform component-level modeling and characterization of power converters, fuel cells, and Lithium Ion batteries.
Develop system-level models for energy management.
Go from concept to implementation and see your ideas working in the Lab
Required Qualifications
Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
3.0 or higher GPA
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Currently working on research projects related to energy management, energy storage and/or power electronics distribution systems
Pursuing Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering
