Entry-level Project Management professional. Participates in the management of the daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining budgets and staffing requirements, and may be responsible for estimating project costs, gathering and analyzing data, preparing progress reports, coordinating project tasks with various functional organizations, and identifying project problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the management of projects, responsibilities include preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed and project quality expectations are met.
  • Participates in estimating costs, resources, and time required to complete projects.
  • Gathers data to monitor projects' progress in terms of cost, schedule and technical specifications.
  • Prepares plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to ensure that established targets are met.
  • May identify and escalate project problems and supports resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Partners with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of Field experience working the construction and/or engineering fields
  • 3+ years of experience working with mid to large scale projects
  • 3+ years of experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MA/MS degree with 2+ years project management experience
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Access and other Windows products
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills
  • Ability to read and understand scope of work
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting
  • Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred
