You will be joining one of our newest and most strategic initiatives to build a cloud-based software-as-a-service unified security solution supporting access control, video, and monitoring capabilities. As part of the engineering team, you will work in a continuous delivery environment and contribute to features that directly impact our customers daily.
We need motivated engineers excited to work across software development, test automation, and infrastructure as we expand our product to meet customers' growing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a cross-functional delivery team to produce tangible, customer-facing deliverables.
- Perform requirement analysis and break down features to support planning and roadmap activities.
- Write, test, improve, and support full stack production code in a continuous-deployment environment.
- Develop and maintain continuous-deployment and automated test frameworks and tooling.
- Participate in peer review to both share and receive feedback.
Required Qualifications
· Completion of Bachelor’s degree by June of 2024
· 1+ years of experience in software development or engineering capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing in a Platform as a Service (PaaS) and IoT cloud-based environment.
- Experience delivering, testing and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Extensive knowledge of modern JavaScript and its application to object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
- Comfortable with modern JavaScript development and testing frameworks and tools such as Node.js, React.js, Redux, Webpack, and Cucumber.js.
- Experience designing and interacting with RESTful web services.
- Strong familiarity with version management and continuous integration practices.
- Experience with automated testing approaches for unit and regression testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Desire to learn new programming languages and technologies as requirements evolve.
- Comfortable with both collaborative and independent work.
- Experience working in a continuous delivery environment.
