About this role

Carrier Commercial Service is currently accepting applications for a Journeyperson to work with the Toronto Service Team to support the light and heavy-applied HVAC service market segments within a 75-kilometer radius in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide equipment service and maintenance for the existing customer base
• General building maintenance of pumps, cooling towers, chillers, make-up airs, and split A/C systems
• Establish and maintain professional customer relations
• Comply with the company Environment, Health and Safety Policies, and Procedures
• Make recommendations to reduce costs and eliminate unnecessary expenses

Basic Qualifications

• Certified journeyperson
• 2 years plus of working knowledge of HVAC system maintenance
• Member of Union Local 787, or eligible to become a member
• Hold a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Prepared to work towards achieving a Gas Fitter 3 and 2
• Computer literate (mobile apps) with a general knowledge of HVAC DDC systems
• Analytical and diagnostic skills
• Customer-focused with proven problem-solving skills
• Strong English communication skills
• Interpersonal skills and a team player
• Able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and customer commitments
• Time management, planning and organizational skills
