    Confirm that all loads are correct per part number and serial number
    Verify that truckers secure loads properly
    Provide documentation to drivers as they leave
    Maintain Reports, Charts and collect requested Data
    Support other activities as indicated by supervisor

    Job Description

    Reports to:

    This role reports to the Logistics Supervisor at the Charlotte Plant.

    Direct Reports:

                    None

    Objective:

    Confirm that all loads are correct per unit model and serial number and verify that truckers secure loads properly. This role requires availability to work long hours and weekends when necessary, 50% or more outdoors.

    Responsibilities:

  • Audit all loads departing the Carrier Charlotte Factory, ensure correct unit models,  serial numbers, and accessories part numbers and quantities
  • Confirm loads are properly secured to prevent damage
  • Document final loading with pictures and file
  • Prepare documents for loads.
  • Obtain signature from drivers to confirm loads.
  • Close shipments in SAP and Planning File
  • File documentation of shipments, BOL
  • Provide Pick Tickets to Shipping Technicians as needed.
  • Retrieve documents or pictures as requested by different areas of the organization.
  • Maintain 5S in all work areas.
  • Input Data into Shipping Tracker of day-to-day loads
  • Perform Cycle Counts
  • Maintain Reports, Charts and collect requested Data
  • Support other activities as indicated by supervisor
  • Minimum Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience with SAP
  • Familiar with MS Office products
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work outdoors on different types of weather
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, lifting, squatting
  • Ability to cross train with other responsibilities within the  Team
  • Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions
  • Availability to work long hours and weekends when necessary
  • Customer and goal oriented
  • Safety oriented
  • Preferred Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience using computers in a Windows environment
