This role is for an Assistant Customer Service Technician adept at thriving in a high-paced setting to cater to the needs of both internal and external customers. The primary responsibilities include addressing basic customer queries related to product availability, maintenance, order status, and efficiently managing records of customer interactions and transactions. The position also involves documenting inquiry details, complaints, comments, and the corresponding actions taken. Additionally, the role focuses on cultivating foundational proficiency in executing established procedures, guided by detailed instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works under immediate supervision to provide satisfactory and quality customer service.
- Assists with obtaining customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased.
- Assists with answering basic customer inquiries on product availability, maintenance, and the status of orders.
- Assists with resolving basic customers' service or billing complaints.
- Assists with keeping records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ of Customer Service/ Technical support experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or college degree
- Positive and professional work ethic
- Knowledge of general and basic office etiquette and skills
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and teamwork
- Detail orientated, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be forward thinking, multitask and troubleshoot
