About this role
Autronica and Det-Tronics, are two strong business units within the Carrier portfolio. Our market focus includes the POG (Petrochemical, Oil & Gas) markets, both onshore and offshore, as well as many other industrial specialty hazard markets. These two brands are technologically innovative, global, and protect customers in many challenging environments with high-end flame and gas detection products and systems. Both organizations are part of the Carrier's Global Industrial Fire Products business and have a global reach with manufacturing sites in Norway, the U.S. and sales presence around the globe.
Global Sales/ Operations Leader
This position is globally responsible for the coordination of sales/ operations and cross functional business processes, as well as successful execution of initiatives within the business. This position will provide sales/ operations leadership and support working collectively with the POG Global Directors and their Regional Sales Manager (RSM) teams as well as other functional support teams (customer service, production, logistics, finance, Customer Technical Excellence Center, legal, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
This role will include use of project management and business analysis skills and other support including:
- Proactively monitor, trend, analyze and refine sales pipeline reporting information for the sales teams and business leadership; ensure data integrity working with global field sales leadership.
- Consolidate monthly sales incentive data (by region, RSM including splits or other notations for pay outs) for SIP (Sales Incentive) calculations.
- Establish and facilitate LARGE Project and account REVIEW process to ensure balanced look at risks and opportunities for field and other organization functional support requirements.
- Forecasting- SIOP process_ Participate in weekly, monthly SIOP reviews for common understanding of future needs from customers to Supply chain teams
- Channel Assessment support (Legal- distributor agreements/ 8E, finance, commissions, etc.). Ensure necessary documents, agreements (annual or ongoing) partner agreements are properly in place for corporate compliance requirements.
- Coordinate CRM tool functionality, usage, new capabilities with Salesforce administrator. Assist with ongoing development and refinement of CRM strategic roadmap. Includes assistance with establishing longer term vision for more proactive marketing via CRM tool.
- Cross Functional support and collaboration: Customer Service/ collaboration and support for urgent needs, Marketing Liaison/ Direct Marketing campaign support, New Product launch support.
- Proactively coordinate information updates for POG on internal communication platforms (i.e. autronicafire.com; Det-Tronics sales portal, Salesforce), coordinate POG annual wheel & activity calendar, support NPS (Customer survey) with marketing, drive POG internal sales tool usage and updates (CRM- Salesforce, portal, etc.) for process improvement.
- Address and support any field sales requests for things like Vendor Qualification requests and submittals, notarized signature letter requests, other supporting documentation requests.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing and related disciplines
- 2+ years of experience utilizing Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Suite
- 2+ years of experience utilizing SalesForce.com as CRM
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and with business and operational performance measures
- Demonstrated ability to meet business and financial objectives
- Demonstrated team management, planning, and organizational, time management and communications skills.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately and handle multiple initiatives.
- Global experience and business understanding a plus
- Experience in leading process or systems implementations
- Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations
- BS/BA degree in business, technical, manufacturing field or equivalent required
- Preferred
- Master's degree in business administration, management or equivalent preferred
