External Description:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ability to run test units using various hand and power tools according to EH&S protocols.
  • Ability to read schematics/blueprints and/or standard work instructions.
  • Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product testing and assembly.
  • Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications.
  • Ability to identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping.
  • High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Willingness to learn and operate in multiple stations within the department.
  • Mandatory overtime and weekend hours are frequent and may be assigned as needed.
  • Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork are required.
  • Moving units on aergo tables.
  • Working at heights of 10 feet on top of units while harnessed.
  • Using a hoist to lift heavy components into place to attach to the unit.

Role Purpose:

  • Assemble and wire units in the water cooled value stream.
  • Ensure customer requirements are meet on every unit.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Ability to read schematics/blueprints and precision measuring instruments. 
  • One-year experience in manufacturing assembly. 
  • Solid mechanical background required.
