In addition to the direct responsibilities of the internship, the individual will be included in an array of discussions that will provide them with learning experiences. This internship will be responsible for assisting with category discovery, project management, data management and analytics, and operational execution. The Supply Chain team will help you gain insight into the daily activities and requirements for sourcing, negotiating, managing, and maintaining an extensive commodity targeting a diverse group of suppliers and partners. You’ll work across borders in a globally coordinated fashion. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, tackling diverse challenges, and delivering solutions that significantly enhance the efficiency of our supply chains.
Carrier is looking for a Supply Chain Intern for our 2025 cohort from January – April 2025 at our Palm Beach Gardens, FL location.
Role Responsibilities:
Support electromechanical project manager and category managers for supplier RFQ's, communications and project inquiries / status updates
Review general data and analysis for category spend with suppliers and provide summary information to the electromechanical team
Assist with supplier expedites and tactical interactions with suppliers and with Carrier internal teams
Report out on assigned electromechanical project at the end of internship, sharing with teammates and leaders, for knowledge sharing and learning
Role Purpose:
Provide career development, supply chain experience, and business acumen to the intern role, developing talent and skill set to grow further within Carrier's organization, targeting OLP preparation
Intern provides tactical, administrative and project support to the electromechanical team
Required Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or Business
Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
