About this role
As part of Carrier’s drive for continuous improvement in all facets of operational execution, we are looking for a dynamic individual to serve as the Project Executive for ALC Field Operations.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to successfully execute our mission-critical project portfolios as it relates to the comprehensive oversight of turnkey execution within our ALC HQ portfolio. In addition, the scope of this responsibility will include but not be limited to:
• Ensuring on-time/on-budget execution of assigned projects
• Oversight of ALC distribution network (Branches and Dealers)
• Logistical and supply chain planning for each project in the portfolio
• Support sales organization with new project RFP’s
Key Responsibilities
Possess a strong understanding of the Controls industry business flow, including but not limited to product knowledge, field operations, financial understanding, and overall customer satisfaction mindset.
Own the successful financial performance of a portfolio of mission-critical customers.
Monitor and drive the quality of turnkey installations and our service deliverables, and customer satisfaction.
Represent ALC and its interests in all portfolio decisions affecting daily operations.
Plan, organize, and direct execution teams from an executive level to ensure portfolio revenue and margin plans are achieved.
Assist in presenting bi-weekly ALC Sync Meeting to clients inclusive of site issues, overall portfolio issues, state of awarded and/or bid projects inclusive of submittal status, portfolio technical coordination issues, and project site status updates. Agenda and meeting minutes creation of same.
Participate in submittal internal review process when requested.
Maintain overall portfolio logistic schedule. Review weekly with leadership and resolve any delivery delay impacts
Recognize current supply chain risks from all commodity suppliers with assistance from parts coordinator and panel fabricators
Work with Senior Design Engineer to maintain portfolio submittal log inclusive of submittal status, submittal type, approval status, assigned resource, etc.
Professionally communicate project issues to the portfolio team and documentation of same.
Be able to utilize executive level communication skills for reporting up the chain of leadership
Manage the creation of root cause analyses paperwork when required.
Drive CORA usage across the portfolio.
Provide executive level documentation of project issues as required
Own and drive KPI’s related to billings, collections, and budgets
Ensure the transition of execution of all service delivery plans and owner direct installation work.
Drive revenue and manpower forecasts to be presented to management on a quarterly basis
Support customers in all aspects of the customer relationship.
Ensure all ALC Organizational safety and ethics standards are met.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
10+ years' experience in the HVAC industry or Building Automation (BAS)
Possess and maintain a valid and current form of US government-issued identification.
Willingness and ability to travel 50% of average workweek, including air travel, overnight hotel stays, and unexpected travel when required or be willing to relocate to Reno, Nevada.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business or construction discipline and 10+ years' experience in the HVAC controls industry or 15+ years' experience in the HVAC controls industry.
