About this role:

Dedicated and experienced Final Inspector. The successful candidate will be crucial in driving Carrier Excellence initiatives hands-on on the production floor. This includes recording information and driving improvements to processes as a result of final inspections at shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all sales orders for completeness and accuracy, including but not limited to, spec note labels, properly programmed units, and correct packaging.
  • Drive Carrier Excellence initiatives hands-on on the production floor.
  • Record information and drive improvements to processes based on final inspections at shipping.
  • Handle goods processed for customers to ensure quality standards are met and orders conform to customer expectations.
  • Prepare all Orders for final shipment.
  • Ensure all Special Shipment documents (OSRs and PKGs) are provided as needed.
  • Work with the Programmers and Stock room to address any Order inaccuracies.
  • Ensure all lines are prepared before shipping.
  • Check backlog daily to ensure all orders have shipped.
  • Maintain a clean and organized 5S work environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IATA requirements is preferred.
  • Maintain a clean working area/environment.
  • Able to work with a cross-functional team and work as a team player.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a Degree in Business Operations or Quality.
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office Products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to evaluate device configurable information with great attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in international shipping and materials management a plus
  • Able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 40lbs,
