Role Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Business Process Redesign: Lead efforts to redesign business processes and master data, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.
  • Effective Communication and Relationship Management: Communicate effectively with business customers and maintain strong relationships across commercial product groups.
  • Support Cross-Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration across teams to ensure seamless integration of your focus area with the overall solution.
  • Gather and Document Specifications: Collect, validate, and document product model specifications from product experts at business units through interviews and requirements workshops.
  • Provide Problem-Solving Support: Assist team members and customers with problem-solving related to software application performance and usage, offering 24x7 support as needed to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Demonstrate Adaptability and Attention to Detail: Show a willingness to learn, adapt to change, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills: Utilize strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills to produce accurate and timely results consistently.
  • Master Integration Points: Develop a thorough understanding of integration points between various business processes or modules, including product costing, material management, procurement, and pricing.
  • Lead Large-Scale Implementations: Bring experience in large-scale implementations, designing cross-team solutions that drive success.
  • Manage Manufacturing Product Releases in SAP VC: Oversee manufacturing product releases and BOM management, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

Role Purpose:

  • Provide Expert Configuration and Analysis Support: Deliver comprehensive configuration and analysis support for the VC module, leveraging a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP functional solution, including classes, characteristics, tables, dependencies, profiles, and super BOMs/Routings1.
  • Complex Material Configuration: Skillfully configure and code complex configurable materials, ensuring full cross-functional integration while adhering to established testing processes2.
  • Design Optimal Product Model Architecture: Architect product models to achieve the best balance of maintainability, scalability, and system performance3.
  • Master Integration Points: Develop a thorough understanding of integration points between various business processes or modules, including product costing, material management, procurement, and pricing4.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Business experience in manufacturing and logistics is highly valued.
