About This Role:
This is an industrial maintenance position that performs essential electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs to industrial equipment in a 300k+ sqft manufacturing facility. This is a critical role in maximizing efficiencies and operational productivity by minimizing unplanned downtime in all departments, thus helping to ensure our customer's needs are met on time and quality standards are upheld. This position will report directly to the Facilities Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment utilizing schematics, blueprints, manufacturer's specification data sheets, multi-meter, and PLC's
Help to maintain a safe work environment by performing maintenance tasks and repairs to the facility and equipment as required
Installs, adjusts, and troubleshoots AC/DC motors, drives, PLC components, scanners, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, air compressors, chillers and building systems, fans, light curtains, and other related controls utilizing all provided shop tools
Maintains accurate preventative maintenance records, including labor, time and inventory for all work performed utilizing the TMS computer system
Performs other duties as assigned. Understands the urgency of minimizing equipment downtime at all times
Use ACE tools to track and improve processes within area of responsibility
High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety
Mandatory overtime and weekend hours are frequent and may be assigned as needed
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly maintenance
Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications
Ability to read blueprints, standard work instructions, bills of material, and precision measuring instruments
Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches
Must be able to work 1st shift hours along with daily over-time and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with CMMS, eMaint, SAP maintenance modules
Lockout/tagout certification and/or Vocational or trade school certification
Solid mechanical background
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
