About this role

This position is for a Controls Field Engineer in Aftermarket and Service who is under minimal supervision and works more independently. Conducts and/or oversees equipment installation, inspection and repair activities on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning. Responsible for on-site calibration after installation. Solves highly complex problems and serves as a resource on varied tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing equipment to meet customer requirements.

  • Installs, tests, services and repairs complex equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements.

  • Performs on-site calibration , testing , commissioning and programming after installation.

  • Conducts and/or oversees equipment installation activities on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning.

  • Conducts and/or oversees the maintenance and analysis of equipment logs to determine equipment repair needs and required repair methods.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or Technical Trade School 

  • 4+ years of experience HVAC Controls

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex HVAC control systems (e.g., building automation systems, PLCs, and control panels).

  • Strong understanding of control system calibration, maintenance, and diagnostics for HVAC equipment.

  • Ability to interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and control system diagrams.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
