About This Role

The Operations Accounting Pricing Manager / LCML Controller will execute and provide analysis for accounting processes such as pricing reserves, sales programs reserves, and balance sheet management. The NA HVAC pricing models are complex and require a person that can manage large amounts of data, and can communicate drivers to business unit CFOs and the RLCS Controller.  As the LCML Controller, this role is also responsible for developing and documenting accounting financials, procedures, and control processes.  They will report to the Senior Manager – Warranty & Pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate large data models for price reserve estimates and communicate drivers to management on a monthly basis.  Solicit feedback from key stakeholders to provide ad hoc reporting on price reserves as needed. 
• Provide full balance sheet support for the LCML business unit including ensuring accurate and timely close activities, accounting policy compliance, partnering with the LCML CFO in ensuring appropriate accounting and reporting for the business, and providing Controllership representation on projects, as needed.
• Obtain understanding of annual and short-term sales programs entered into with customers and ensure proper accounting.
• Assist in closing monthly ERP reporting jobs.
• Prepare monthly accounting journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Work with RLCS Controller and business partners to establish and maintain robust internal controls environment.
• Support internal and external audits for process compliance and timely completion.
• Maintain accounting standard work documentation.
• Support ad-hoc projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years Accounting and/or Finance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling and analyzing large amounts of data and drawing meaningful conclusions
• Strong oral and written communication skill and proven presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize
• CPA/CMA/MBA preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Accounting disciplines within work area and able to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs and systems
• Knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting standards
• Demonstrated experience working in SAP, HFM, and advanced MS Excel and Access
• Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication and sense of ownership
