About This Role

We are seeking an Operations Finance Manager at our Franklin, KY manufacturing facility. This role involves close collaboration with plant Operations and Finance teams to support financial and operational goals. This position will provide experience and exposure that will prepare the Operations Finance Manager for continued career growth, with opportunities to gain exposure and advance in positions within our Carrier locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly forecasting and annual plan processes for Factory Income Statement and Balance Sheet Accounts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional managers to create monthly forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.

  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports to management.

  • Analyze factory performance, conduct manufacturing projections, and perform sensitivity analysis.

  • Review and analyze productivity plans, forecasts, and reporting.

  • Establish standard costs and analyze purchase price variance.

  • Ensure financial information preparation complies with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley and prepare for internal and external audits.

  • Perform Ad-hoc analysis support to plant leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or CPA/CMA is preferred but not required

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and provide financial leadership across the plant and organization

  • Exceptional computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, HFM/Hyperion Financial Management, and SAP preferred

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to concisely and effectively report on analysis both orally and in written format

  • Knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and internal controls procedures

  • Successful applicants will be able to manage multiple and conflicting priorities under tight deadlines, be detail-oriented, and be well-organized

  • Passion for servicing customers, ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectations

  • Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset

  • Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive, sustainable solutions

  • Strong ability to work in diverse, cross-functional project teams to achieve high levels of performance in a dynamic, changing environment. Successful experience with collaborating in a matrix environment
