ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The principal responsibilities of the Recycle Associate are to refurbish/recycle returned equipment to like-new condition for resale and to configure PCBs, chamber test PCBs, and assemble raw material to a finished product. The Recycle Associate will perform these duties as outlined by the Sensitech work instructions, quality assurance procedures and assembly drawings.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure that products are disassembled/assembled per the applicable work instructions and assembly images.

  • Ensure that fallout and non-conforming material is processed per fallout/standard repair procedures.

  • Use a PC to load factory-default settings into electronic products, to scan fallout into Excel Spreadsheet and to use company time clock.

  • Utilize proprietary production software to configure and program a variety of electronic temperature loggers.

  • Review electronically generated files for quality of recorded data

  • Load/unload an Environmental Chamber

  • Use electronic tools like Multimeter to do the required measurements

  • Conduct battery check by measuring voltage and measuring PCB board functionality using a milliohm meter.

  • May be required to perform some QC work.

  • Perform other tasks assigned, such as Recycle Associate I & II and Assembly Technician duties and help other departments as needed.

  • Extended work hours may be required, including weekends and holidays to meet customer orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of experience in electronic manufacturing with Carrier

  • 1+ years of experience with Production Workflow and Quality Standards

  • Ability to read blueprints, standard work instructions, bills of material, and precision measuring instruments

  • Capable of climbing ladders and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
