About This Role:

The Supply Chain Manager, Regional is responsible for partnering with WHQ Supply Chain, Product Managers, Businesses, and Engineering on strategies and implementations required to meet supply chain goals and metrics including productivity, supplier rationalization, net working capital improvements, and other strategic supply chain projects.   Project leader for multiple supply chain projects, working with cross-functional teams and applying standard work to execute implementation plans for productivity, continuous improvement, source change, and VAVE programs.
 

Job Description:

  • Supply Chain Process: Oversee the implementation of supply chain strategy for assigned categories and Carrier sites, aligned with the organization's overall procurement and business objectives within the optimum Supply Chain with vendors.

  • Develop and improve sourcing execution to bring value to the business through margin expansion, quality, timing, and reliability of Carrier outcomes.

  • Setting objectives, monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Investigate, coordinate and communicate project changes. Identify gaps to goals and collaboratively develop and support countermeasures and activities to close the gap and exceed targets.

  • Active participant in cross functional productivity gate reviews ensuring that required cross-functional resources are allocated to execute projects as outlined. Partner with WHQ Supply Chain and Schedule B Leadership to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements.

  • Participate in and represent the supply chain function during plant or product Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) events.

  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key Carrier Category leadership and suppliers to ensure the highest quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery of materials, components, and products.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Planning, WHQ Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Development, and Operations, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives.

  • Team Leadership: Manage assigned supply chain programs with key vendors on a high-performing cross functional team of procurement professionals. Provide guidance, strategy, and influence others.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain or Strategic Sourcing

  • 3+ years` experience in Supply Chain Process Optimization or Supplier Management

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (domestic and international)
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing within a global manufacturing organization.

  • Preferable experience in Supply Chain Process Optimization within different Commodities

  • Demonstrated track record of managing Supply Chain Process Improvement driving KPI implementation.

  • Six Sigma and Lean Manufacture certification

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

  • Proficient in Microsoft with deep knowledge in MS Excel

  • Knowledge on ERP system (preferable SAP) and the usage of Power Bi Tools.

  • Strong analytical and market research skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize key opportunities.

  • English communication (written and verbal)

  • Presentation skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
