About the role:
The Light Commercial Aftermarket Product Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of aftermarket products, including strategy, development, launch, and performance optimization. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. Foundational skills include market analysis, project management, customer engagement, and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the vision, roadmap, and strategy for aftermarket items related to light commercial rooftops and split systems.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends. Translate insights into actionable product and marketing strategies for serviceability and total lifecycle solutions.
- Lead cross-functional coordination for product launches, including pricing, parts inventory planning, and performance tracking. Collaborate with sales, marketing, service, and supply chain teams to ensure successful commercialization.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, resolve issues, and build loyalty. Use insights to refine product offerings and enhance satisfaction.
- Monitor key metrics such as sales, profitability, warranty trends, and customer satisfaction. Use data to identify improvement areas and optimize product performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6 years of experience in product management and/or aftermarket services
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline preferred
- Experience in HVAC, or manufacturing industries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven project management capabilities
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Technical aptitude and understanding of product functionality
- Financial literacy and business acumen
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
