About this role

Sensitech has an opportunity for an Assembler/Technician to join the team in Redmond WA. Outlined by the Sensitech work instructions, quality assurance procedures and assembly drawings the Assembler/Tester will perform various mechanical phases of assembling electro-mechanical products for the Strip Chart Recorder (SCR) devices. The SCR devices records data over time, often used in labs or factories.

This is an onsite 1st shift role in Redmond, WA. Working hours 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday.

This is a physical demanding role, and the successful candidate must be able to stay at pace with the workflow. Also be able to work extended hours including weekends and holidays to meet customer orders and participate in the job-rotation schedule.

The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a background check.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and build mechanical and electronic components for SCR devices
  • Follow detailed work instructions and assembly drawings for product assembly and testing
  • Perform complex inspection, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on current product lines
  • Participate in a job-rotation schedule across various workstations
  • Crosstrain on all steps and stations involved in SCR manufacturing
  • Support other departments as needed with assigned tasks
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, leads, supervisors, and cross-functional departments

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ months of experience in an assembly or production-related role
  • 6+ months of experience in manual and finger dexterity to handle small objects and operate hand tools
  • Physical ability to lift and transport objects up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform a range of physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
  • Successfully pass a background check
