About this role

Sensitech, located in Beverly, MA, is seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our team.


The Shipping Associate is responsible for ensuring all customer orders are shipped accurately, completely, and on time, while adhering to Sensitech’s policies and procedures.

This is a 1st shift onsite position that may require overtime to meet operational goals and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete domestic and international order shipments accurately.

  • Inspect orders for completeness, i.e. packing lists, certificates, specification labels, programmed units, and proper packaging.

  • Verify accuracy of shipments include correct line items and quantities.

  • Prepare international shipments and coordinate with freight carriers for timely delivery.

  • Schedule freight pickups as required.

  • Perform both virtual and manual shipments to ensure timely delivery.

  • Daily monitor of backlog to confirm all orders have shipped.

  • Complete end-of-day closing activities.

  • Read, understand, and follow operational procedures.

  • Enter late orders into the ERP system.

  • Collect and process turn-backs/escapes as they occur.

  • Complete allocated tasks from start to finish.

  • Communicate shipping concerns promptly to the Lead or Supervisor.

  • Keep the work area clean, organized and compliant with safety standards.

  • Interact with cross-functional teams and foster strong teamwork.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 6+ months of international, domestic or LTL shipping experience

  • Be able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree.

  • Materials management experience

  • Pallet Jack experiences

  • Knowledge of IATA requirements

  • Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel.

  • ERP systems (SAP or Epicor)

  • Attention to detail and organized.

  • Work with strict deadlines and multiple tasks

  • Interpersonal skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

The hourly rate for this position is between $18.58- $34.27 per hour.  Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
