About this role:

The IML Coordinator will be working as a critical element for all materials received and managed by the manufacturing site. This includes materials provided by full-service providers as well as materials initially received at off-site locations prior to being called for from production.

This position will report directly to the Internal Materials Logistics Supervisor and have cross-functional collaboration with Production, Planning, Engineering, the 3PL, Warehousing, and Suppliers.

The IML Coordinator will be working as a critical element to ensure material availability at the point of use. This includes materials provided by full-service providers as well as materials initially received to off-site locations prior to being called for from production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the material execution team to drive improved material availability at the point of use
  • Create and track leading and lagging department metrics
  • Operationally manage VMI suppliers to ensure proper inventory levels and compliance with defined storage methods
  • Support oversight of Ryder corrective actions
  • Coordinate material flow changes with the MRS manager and team
  • Work within the IML team to support continuous improvement projects.
  • Support the department in other activities as needed


Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 + years of experience in developing, and overseeing processes including the development and management of process measurables
  • 1 + years of experience in managing relationships with various levels of the business along with internal and external stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Ability to organize daily activities and make quick decisions to support a fast-paced process-oriented operation.
  • Ability to identify operational opportunities and establish and maintain processes that are fundamental to the business
  • Maintain a high level of urgency in order to ensure timely receipt processing and quick escalation of receipt-related issues.
  • Physical ability, such as bending, squatting, and lifting 30 pounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proactive communication.
  • Working knowledge of material management systems and the ability to use them accurately.
  • Able to work autonomously and as a team.
  • Strong PC skills must include proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
