Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist with design tasks for the completion of building automation systems.

  • Assist with documentation of the BAS design (i.e., submittals) and revision control of the resultant documents.

  • Assist with site-specific configuration of the WebCTRL system (using SiteBuilder).

  • Assist with the programming of control algorithms.

  • Assist with the development of graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems (using Eikon and ViewBuilder).

  • Assist with final documentation of the building automation system that incorporates all changes made since the issuance of the submittal.

  • Clear communication and proactive expectation setting with manager and internal project teams.

  • Adherence to safety standards. High regard for employee and subcontractor safety.

  • Adherence to ethics standards. Exemplifies the Carrier code of ethics.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HVAC Controls, OR Construction Management 

  • Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Must have a valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by our company’s insurance carrier 

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation

  • Team player with a positive attitude.

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Access and other Windows products

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio (other CAD software acceptable).

  • Ability to report to assigned work location reliably.

  • Able to balance multiple concurrent priorities.

  • Aptitude for problem-solving. 

  • Time management skills, including the ability to estimate the time required to complete tasks and deliver on the committed timeline.

  • Competent verbal and written communicator. Aptitude for translating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay Range:

The annual salary for this position is $ 36,750–$127,500.
