About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative (Inside Sales) to support business growth through outbound prospecting, pipeline expansion, and strong customer relationship management. This role is critical in uncovering rental opportunities, engaging key accounts, and supporting revenue growth across target markets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at high-volume outreach, and is passionate about delivering solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive outbound prospecting to generate new rental opportunities and expand the sales pipeline
- Build and maintain relationships with Facilities Directors, Purchasing Managers, and Operations leaders
- Support customers with temporary cooling, heating, and dehumidification solutions during outages, repairs, and renovations
- Execute high-volume calls, emails, and follow-ups to engage prospects and re-activate existing accounts
- Research accounts, build targeted prospect lists, and assist with sales campaigns
- Utilize Salesforce and Five9 to track activity, manage accounts, and document engagement
- Manage data and reporting for the sales team, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and pipeline performance
- Collaborate with sales leadership to support lead generation, account growth, and targeted outreach
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including trade show participation, Lunch & Learns, and promotional materials
- Maintain accurate customer data, including contacts, account updates, and business cards in Salesforce
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales or business development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with outbound calling
- Experience in the HVAC rental industry
